Nails by Mets founder, Metta Francis from London has been recognised as one of the leading beauty experts in the country, by being announced as a finalist for Nail Professional of the Year at the Professional Beauty Awards.
The national awards are the most prestigious and established in the country for the beauty, spa, nails and aesthetics markets and seek to recognise those who go above and beyond as a beauty business and make a significant difference to the industry.
Even reaching the finals in the awards marks someone out as one the country’s most promising beauty professionals, while a win can establish them on a global scale as a truly exceptional beauty expert. As well as raising their profile, making the shortlist also gives a boost to morale and provides an opportunity to reflect on their achievements.
The Nail Professional of the Year category seeks to celebrate those who provide exceptional nail services to their clients each and every day, through work which is beautiful, trend-led, detail-oriented and perfectly executed.
Finalists are decided following written entries, which are scored by a panel of independent industry judges. Those with the highest combined score made the finals. Finalists are then judged again in a second round, which includes interviews and live demonstrations of their skills.
Winners will be announced at a glamorous black-tie dinner on February 25 at Tobacco Dock in London, where the winners of the World Spa & Wellness Awards will also be revealed. As well as providing an opportunity to celebrate, the event also allows guests to network with the world’s leading spas, salons and product houses, grow their industry community and develop professional relationships that last a lifetime.
